|The Delta River band was an idea founded by Ryan Scott St. Louis and Johnny Jordan. They played a few shows together and it just clicked. So they came up with the idea to start a two man band, but with a twist... It was crucial to capture the sound of a full band but it was unacceptable to play along with the cheap backing tracks that you hear at every karaoke bar. So they jumped into the recording studio and put down over 70 songs to get them started (Out of a list of 120!) Together the two of them played the drums, bass, fiddle, and every other instrument on every track and every song. It took about two months working 7 days a week 12 to 16 hour days to complete this project, not including the website and marketing.|
Ryan St. Louis has been playing live music for over 20 years. As a Nashville Recording Artist and a full time musician, Ryan pulled back from touring and traveling on the road to settle down in a small town called Zephyrhills, FL. When playing a live show his main instrument of choice is the Piano/Keyboard. His voice has been compared to the sounds of some of your major recording artist such as Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and George Straight, but when it comes to southern rock he is quick to get into the grove and throw out some vocals that will surly move your soul.
Johnny Jordan comes from a small town in Baton rouge, LA. He plays the guitar and bass guitar with great southern pride. Over 38 years of on stage performances under his belt this duo makes quite an impression! His vocals are warm and gentle, thus giving him the nickname “The Gentle Giant!” If you ever feel the need for the George Jones or Elvis Presley smooth sounds, he will sing you a love song that you’ll never forget.
Together this two man group has put together a sound that is so unique and different than any other band you have ever listened to. The vocals are sharp and crisp; the music is fresh and professionally produced. The energy is alive and filled with emotion, the overall experience is something that will make you come back time and time again. They will always leave you wanting for more. With a fan base of over 1000 fans and friends, you can be assured that the word is spreading and this duo is gaining popularity as every show comes to an end.
